$12 per person.  This is a readers' theatre type of production, not a murdermystery.  Light refreshments offered at intermission.

Welcome Aboard! A spectacular fireworks display is planned for the evening, but will the fireworks be in the sky?? Don't rock this boat, or the Picture Perfect Party could end.....in murder!

"It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over"

After decades of trying, The Jackson Jackelopes have finally won the seven game Dixie League Championship Series! You are invited to attend the awards gala where Kitty Dinger, wife of deceased former team owner – Hum Dinger, has a big surprise in store for her newly inherited team including plans to hit a home run with the MVP – Jay “Wild Thing” Powers, after the ceremony.  His jealous girlfriend, Kaci Striker wants to knock Kitty out of the ball park. She’ll have to take a number behind Kitty’s alcoholic daughter, Lotta Weine, the Jackelope’s announcer, Harry Perry and team coach, Tony Lacorta –both former lovers turned “Kitty toys.”   Somewhere between the “seventh inning stretch” and the “bottom of the ninth,” you’ll find out who’s future ain’t what it used to be.

"Dying to be Married"

You are invited to attend the rehearsal dinner of Manny Broads & Mary May Soon, played by Derrel Palmer and Keni Bounds  Will all the ladies in Jackson really be crying when local playboy, Manny Broads, says “I Do!” to the spoiled little rich girl, Mary May Soon?  Or will there be a collective sigh of relief?  Against her daddy’s advice Mary May has deemed Manny to be worthy of her.  Will becoming Mary May’s husband truly be a fate worse than death?  Manny’s best man, Hal Larious (Tom Lestrade), does not find Manny’s cavalier approach to impending doom at all funny.  Hal’s fiancé and Mary May’s maid of honor, Zenny Pilate (Stephanie Gault) does her best to get everyone calm, cool and married, especially before anyone finds out what she did last night!  What rehearsal dinner would be complete without an ex-girlfriend, Holly Wood, and Tom Collins, a bumbling bartender (portrayed by Alahna Stewart and Tommy Kobeck) to round out the crazy cast of characters?

Who is his date, Sunny Sideup and why does she look so familiar- even though she is half his age?  Watch what happens when her Momma shows up!  And will Cupid finally hit his mark?  Clay Puppet sure hopes so!  Or maybe you would like to dress up and join the costume parade!  Anyone can win this prize- uh, oh, someone forgot the prizes....

We may have to ask for some volunteers to join this crew. Where did his producer, Marty Scorecheese, find such a group? Who will be left standing when the director films the "final cut?"

In hopes of saving the factory, Santa has extended his guest list to include potential investors like the Grinch who is doing quite well as the owner of Whoville’s most prominent toy store. Join party planner - Susie Who, Santa’s favorite helper - Lou-Ellen Insky, Santa’s brother - Jingle Kringle and of course, Mrs. Claus and decide for yourself who deserves Nuttin’ for Christmas when one of them ensures that a key person never sees The Night Before Christmas.

"Death by Valentine"

Hart Breaker is trying to throw the perfect Valentine's Day party for her daughter, Candy. She just can't get any cooperation from her "other" daughter, Coco Puff, her "current" husband, Drew Blood, her "friend," Bill Willkill, or her "brother," Rock Bottoms. Candy isn't impressed with anyone on the guest list and wants to go hang out with her friends instead, but gifts keep arriving from a secret admirer and she can't figure out a way to make her escape. Something has to be done to save this Valentine's Day party... but who will save Candy Valentine? Or could someone finally be coo coo for Coco Puff, Candy's older half-sister? 

"Love Letters"

Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and Melissa Gardner, both born to wealth and position, are childhood friends whose lifelong correspondence begins with birthday party thank-you notes and summer camp postcards. Romantically attached, they continue to exchange letters.  The piece is comprised of letters exchanged over a lifetime between two people who grew up together, went their separate ways, but continued to share confidences. As the actors read the letters aloud, what is created is an evocative, touching, frequently funny.  What Andy and Melissa imply in their letters is as revealing and meaningful as what is actually written down.  Featuring the talents of Tom Lestrade and Alahna Stewart.

"Red Rum"

Scarlet and Red Rumgardner are hosting their annual Red Rum Runner’s Toys Masquerade Ball.  Things quickly go down the cellar steps in this backwards murder mystery.  Scarlet tries to keep things running smoothly even though there is a dead body and an unexpected and nosey Inspector Merlock Bones to mess up her seating chart!  All the ususal suspects are in attendance for the party:  Red’s business partner & college buddy, Col. Kent Handle the Mustard bumbles his way through the evening while his pretty but “red” necked wife, Brooke Peacock fans her feathers for all who care to look.  And what party would be complete without the annual accounting report given by Cecelia “CC” Whiteice  The main question is will the events of the evening ruin or enhance Scarlet’s ambitions of becoming next year’s President of the Bonnie Blue Garden Club?    

"Murder Under the Mistletoe"

Tommy Countem, the CEO of a struggling accounting firm decides to throw a holiday party to boost morale. He also decides to bring in a consultant, Dick Sticksit, to streamline and straighten the company out. What he doesn't realize is that those two independent decisions will result in bedlam, havoc and chaos in the middle of wildly performed holiday songs, door prizes and a visit from someone very special in a red Santa suit. Join Tom, Dick and Harry Gambles, the company’s computer wizard, for a holiday party to beat all holiday parties!  Also ready to party are Janet Lies, Tommy’s very personal secretary; Martha Cheats, the CFO or countem Up Inc; and Holly Steels, Tommy’s sister.  Happy holidays? Maybe, but stay away from the mistletoe... or that spirited kiss may turn deadly.

"Unshelved"

Stewart Productions is proud to present “Unshelved,” written by Beth Kander.  This captivating play demonstrates how Alzheimer’s disease affects a family like ripples in a pond. 

When Alzheimer’s disease begins to rob Audrey Hollingsworth of her memory, her troubled son Rye and loyal husband Bill are forced to encounter secrets of the past and uncertainties of the future.

 This is a benefit performance for the Alzheimer's Association.
